Every blog should be a brain
Reverse-chronological is how filing cabinets think. People don't.
Placeholder thought. Replace it with a real one.
A blog sorted newest-first assumes your best idea is your latest one. It almost never is. The good stuff sinks, and the only way back to it is a search box and luck.
Thoughts don’t arrive in order
They come back sideways. Something you read today sets off something you half-wrote two years ago. A site could work like that too: posts as neurons, links as synapses, with the old ones lighting up whenever something new touches them.
So, a map
That’s what the homepage is: a map you can poke at, not a feed you scroll past.
